Mario Schlosser is the Co-Founder & Advisor to the CEO at Oscar Health, where he accelerates technology innovation across the Oscar Health family — Oscar Insurance, Lucie Health Marketplace and Trove Group — to grow the individual market. He previously served as President of Technology & Chief Technology Officer and CEO of Oscar, leading the company from its founding to 1M+ members. Before co-founding Oscar, Mario co-founded the largest social gaming company in Latin America, leading its analytics and game design practices, and earlier worked as a Senior Investment Associate at Bridgewater Associates and a consultant for McKinsey & Company in Europe, the U.S. and Brazil.
Mario also spent time as a visiting scholar at Stanford University, where he co-authored 10 computer science publications, including one of the most-cited computer science papers of the past decade, in which he developed the EigenTrust Algorithm to securely compute trust in randomized networks. He holds a degree in computer science with highest distinction from the University of Hannover in Germany and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
